Fellowship on the Beach

Sunday at the beach we met a precious young family who stopped at our Bible Table on their way to fish off the pier. This happy group chatted awhile. Then Fran told her husband to go ahead with the older children as she wanted to “fellowship” with us a few minutes.

She never stopped smiling as she told her remarkable story of how God had changed her life over a year ago.  She said God restored their marriage and now her husband is working again.

She has wonderful new friends who love Jesus.  They are involved in a church for the first time in their lives, and next Sunday several members of their family will be baptized.  She’s been in a weekly Bible study for one year and is experiencing more and more of God’s love and faithfulness as she trusts in Him.

What joy to hear Fran’s story and then to pray with her!   Have you experienced this kind of joy from the Lord? Have you shared it with others?

  • Instead of their shame my people will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace they will rejoice in their inheritance; and so they will inherit a double portion in their land, and everlasting joy will be theirs.  Isaiah 61:7

About Kathleen

God delights in working through His people as they submit to Him. Jesus said to go into all the world and preach the good news to everyone (Mark 16:15). No matter where we live on this planet, people are separated from God because of sin. We ALL need a Savior, and there’s only ONE. It brings me great joy to share Christ with the lost and lonely. Over the years I’ve learned a great deal while facilitating Bible studies. I’ve found myself on college and university campuses, the beach, the streets, the hospital, the jail and the juvenile facility for incarcerated teens sharing God’s message of love. I also serve as an online missionary with Global Media Outreach. I’ve seen countless lives transformed when people turn away from sin and turn to Jesus. The changes God makes are real and lasting. These are some of my experiences. NOTE: My stories have been altered, removing any and all identifying factors. This includes names and other particulars in order to protect confidentiality and anonymity.
